It is also the perfect meeting point for laid-back training sessions after dark. Freestyle is not just a trend in LAAX, it is tradition. The ‘wild folks’ on their boards have not only been tolerated, but encouraged from the very beginning. Since 2005, LAAX hosts Europe’s most important snowboarding event – the famous LAAX OPEN, formerly known as the Burton European Open.
