Ski industry leaders collaborate for World Ski Awards #ReStart campaign

World Ski Awards has published the first series of interviews with ski industry leaders as part of its #ReStart campaign to galvanise the recovery efforts of the collective global ski tourism industry in the wake of Covid. The initiative includes interviews with the heads of ski resorts, hotels and chalets, ski agents and heliskiing operators on their experiences during lockdown, and their advice on how to navigate the crisis.

Individual Awards

The WSA Academy is accepting nominations for Outstanding Contribution to Ski Tourism 2020. Prospective candidates will have made a defining impact and served as a force for good during their distinguished careers. Nominations are also open for the new Dr. Josef Burger Rising Star Award to honour the next generation of ski tourism leaders.

Ceremony

Kitzbühel – the home of legends – will host the undisputed event of the ski tourism year over three action-packed days. A host of exclusive VIP networking events and once-in-a-lifetime ski experiences will be built around the red carpet awards ceremony on Saturday 21st November, when we also celebrate the formal start of Kitzbühel's 2020/2021 winter ski season.
