After taking home the title of Australia’s Best Boutique Ski Lodge 2016, 2017 & 2018 at the World Ski Awards in Kitzbühel, Austria, we are striving to continue our success and our level of expertise.

Our luxurious ski-in ski-out lodge seduces guests with exceptional features including panoramic mountain views, heated magnesium mineral pool, library, elevator/disabled access, kids room and a fine dining restaurant/cocktail lounge. Astra’s accommodation consists of 27 luxurious rooms which include a 2-bedroom apartment, 6 elegant studio apartments and Deluxe rooms.

Boasting interiors that feature local design, the materials are robust and natural. Architects have achieved a simplistic and stylish European alpine look complete with leather, timber, stone and tiles all locally sourced and eco-friendly. Rooms come complete with views of the stunning surrounds, whilst inside includes luxurious furnishings that have been hand-sourced from around the world with a keen eye for detail.

Astra is proud to offer the services of Adalbert Leibetseder from Skimetric again this year, Bert’s personalised ski programme and boot fitting skills are a one of a kind experience which complements our new state of the art ski and boot drying room.

The lodge offers guests private on-snow transfers and a full-service day spa experience like no other. Deluxe offerings include wet-dry saunas, custom massages, facials, wraps, manicures, pedicures and hair salon.
