Bansko offers excellent winter sports conditions for all age groups and for all individual abilities. The ski area has 20 slopes with a total length of 75 kilometers. About 30% of them are suitable for beginners, 40% are for intermediate and another 30% are for experts. They are served by 1 gondola lift, 8 chairlifts and 5 ski lifts. A team of professionals maintains the slopes at a world-class level with the help of about 400 snow guns and 20 snowcats. Bansko has hosted numerous Alpine Skiing World Cups and Snowboarding World Cups.

In summer the guests of Bansko can climb, play mini golf or football, cycle or go down the longest inflatable water slide in Europe with a length of 400 meters. Bansko offers a rich cultural program all year round: the Bansko International Jazz Festival, Bansko Opera Fest, International Mountain Cinema Festival and many folklore and cultural events. The region has many mineral springs.
