Excitement mounts ahead of unveiling of World Ski Awards winners

VIP’s and senior dignitaries representing the world’s best ski resorts, hotels and chalets are arriving arriving at the A-ROSA Kitzbühel ahead of the inaugural World Ski Awards.Taking place over the weekend of November 15th-17th in Austria’s legendary winter sports destination, guests will take part in a three day programme of unrivalled networking events, dinners, and exclusive ski experience activities.
The highlight event will be the glittering red carpet World Ski Awards Gala Ceremony itself on the evening of November 16th. Ski tourism figureheads and market leaders from North America, Europe Asia, South America and Australasia will be in attendance as the World Ski Awards winners are unveiled.
As well as accolades for the best products from the world’s top 20 ski tourism nations, the winners of awards for the “World’s Best Ski Resort”, “World’s Best Ski Hotel”, World’s Best Ski Chalet”, World’s Best Ski Boutique Hotel” and for “Outstanding Services to Ski Tourism” will also be announced.

About World Ski AwardsLaunched in 2012, World Ski Awards aims to drive up standards within the ski industry by rewarding the organisations that are leaders in their field.
Votes were cast by professionals working within the ski industry – senior executives, travel buyers, tour operators, agents and media - and by the public (ski tourism consumers). Votes were submitted online at World Ski Awards website.
Winners will be announced at the World Ski Awards Ceremony, taking place at the A-ROSA Kitzbühel, Austria on 16th November 2013 as part of a 3 day programme of VIP events and activities.
World Ski Awards is the sister organisation of World Travel Awards, currently celebrating its 20th anniversary.
