For the fifth consecutive year, Eichardt’s Private Hotel has been named New Zealand’s Best Ski Boutique Hotel at the annual World Ski Awards. The distinguished title, recognising excellence in the global ski tourism industry, was awarded to the luxury Queenstown hotel at a red-carpet gala ceremony held in the legendary Austrian ski resort town of Kitzbühel.

For the second year in a row, Val-Thorens , recently voted best ski resort in the world for the fourth time at the World Ski Awards, is breaking free from FIFAS and its Ski Force Winter Tour and is staging the opening of the season (even if the resort has already opened last weekend) by offering its own event on 25 and 26 November 2017, "La Grande Premiere", a festive multi-gliding rendezvous led by a master hand by Gaylord Pedretti and his agency Like That, well known in the middle to be the initiative of the monsters events that are the High Five Festival, the Sosh Big Air or the Rock On Snowboard Tour.
