rocksresort is a multiple-award-winning resort in LAAX with a responsible and sustainable approach to resources and the environment. Only natural and regional materials were used to build the "cubes". They are made from solid Valser stone and house minimalistic but stylish four, six and eight bed apartments. Several of the rocksresort buildings are constructed as "Minergie" buildings and adhere to certified energy efficiency standards. Measures such as the generation of electricity through regional hydro-power and the reuse of waste heat that is produced by the buildings itself have ensured a decrease in the energy demand and ecological foot print of the rocksresort. In summer, outside in the rocksresortPARK there is a special area with natural flowers dedicated to wild bees. It is equipped with informative boards, so that even the smallest children can learn about these important animals.
