Meet the winner
With world-class snow conditions, a series of brand new on-mountain experiences, and a vibe in the village like nowhere else… Thredbo’s 2021 season has been unforgettable.
Storms delivering dry, soft powder have made for some of the best snow conditions we’ve ever seen… offering riders of all abilities thousands of metres of vertical terrain.
Skiers and snowboarders have spent the season carving down the longest runs in the country, riding to Australia’s Highest Lifted Point, and ticking off one of the resorts favourite bucket list items… ringing the Thredbo Community Bell.
We have always been ahead of the game when it comes to events and this year has been no exception. The on-snow schedule was packed all winter starting off with the Torah Bright Mini Shred, into Snow Series, Top to Bottom, Banked Slalom, Kids Festivals, and more!
It was the first year we brought guests our unique on-mountain including Snowcat Dinners at either the famous Kareela Hutte or Merritts Mountain House. Guests were also able to have a one-in-a-life time experience, heading up for our Sunrise Sessions and enjoying first tracks just after the alpenglow.
A series of backcountry tours we partnered with The North Face on, took guests to new heights with experienced guides sharing some of the best off-piste riding out in untouched terrain.
Off the slopes, guests were overwhelmed with the choice of different après events including live music and DJs, exceptional food and wine at the variety of restaurants, and fireworks and flare runs to entertain the whole family!
Thredbo stands miles above other Australian resorts thanks to the longest runs, state-of-the- art high-speed gondola, stunning alpine village and awesome experiences for everyone on and off the slopes!
